Import and export declarations in Tunisia

Customs rules, duties, fees and taxes are complex, and a missing document can hold your goods at the port. We prepare and file your import and export declarations, check your documents before the goods move, work out duties and taxes in advance, and advise you on the procedures that apply to your trade.

What we take care of

  • Import and export declarations
  • Documents checked before departure
  • Proof of origin (EUR.1 and others)
  • Duties and taxes worked out in advance
  • Advice on Incoterms and procedures
  • Status updates until release

Questions about customs

Which documents do I need to export to the EU?

Usually a commercial invoice, a packing list, the transport document and proof of origin, plus certificates for regulated goods. Our guide Shipping from Tunisia to the EU: the document checklist lists them.

We show them separately, because they depend on the goods and their value and are paid to the authorities. We work them out in advance so there is no surprise; see Customs clearance: keeping your goods moving.

It decides who pays what and where the risk passes. Our guide Incoterms 2020 explained helps you choose.
